Alpha Tire was founded in 2021 by Luis Ambriz, but its roots go back much further.

Luis grew up in a family deeply rooted in the tire industry, learning the trade alongside his father, uncle, and brother from an early age. Those family values—hard work, craftsmanship, and treating customers with respect—remain at the heart of everything we do today.

Before opening Alpha Tire, Luis, his lifelong friend Ana, and his brother-in-law Ricky each built careers as aircraft mechanics. The precision, attention to detail, and commitment to safety required in aviation continue to shape the way we approach every service we provide.



Today, Alpha Tire remains proudly family-owned, with multiple members of the Ambriz family working together every day to serve our community with integrity and care. Alongside them is a close-knit team that shares the same values and commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience. Together, we combine generations of tire industry knowledge with the discipline and professionalism gained through aviation to create an experience built on honesty, quality, and trust.

Tires are at the heart of what we do.

We offer more than 150 tire brands, with options for nearly every vehicle and every budget. Many tires are available the same day, helping get you safely back on the road as quickly as possible.

We're proud to be authorized dealers for leading manufacturers, including Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, Pirelli, Falken, Nitto, Hankook, and Kumho.



Beyond tires, we also provide oil changes, brake services, wheel and tire repair, custom wheels, TPMS service, and other automotive maintenance to help keep your vehicle performing at its best.

To make ownership even easier, we report qualifying services to CARFAX and register eligible tire warranties with the manufacturer on your behalf, saving you time and helping protect your investment.

Our Journey

2021 – Alpha Tire proudly opened its doors in Burlington, North Carolina.

2022 – Expanded services to include custom wheels, TPMS Diagnositcs, oil changes, and brake services.

2023 – Invested in new equipment and created a modern customer lounge with complimentary refreshments, Wi-Fi, and a private office.

2024 – Began reporting qualifying services to CARFAX and registering eligible tire warranties with manufacturers for customers.

2025 – Expanded access to more than 150 tire brands, added additional payment and financing options, and continued growing our team while staying true to our commitment to honest, customer-first service.

2026 – Reimagined the Alpha Tire experience with a refreshed showroom, expanded customer amenities, and continued investments in our facility, technology, and team to better serve the Burlington community.
